Deborah Miller Thompson, 67, of Plum Branch, SC, wife of Leland Thompson passed on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at her home.
Deborah was born on January 5, 1955 in Greer, SC to Carl Tommy Miller and the late Doris Marie Miller. Deborah was a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. She attended Harlem High School and owned several businesses during her lifetime. She was a very creative and artistic person who loved creating floral arrangements and ceramics. She enjoyed spending time at the lake and loved all animals.
In addition to her husband of the home and father, Carl Tommy Miller of Grovetown, GA, Deborah is survived by a son, Edward Miller of Prattville, AL; a sister, Sharon Lynne Murphy (Greg) of Grovetown, GA; a brother, Carl Thomas Miller Jr (Patricia) of Thomson, GA; three nieces, Megan Murphy Jones (Clayton), Emily Murphy and Abbigail Miller; two nephews, Ryan Murphy (Julia) and Carl “Trey” Miller III and a granddaughter, Samantha Schooler.
Deborah was a special person that will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her mother, Doris Miller, Deborah was preceded in death by her first husband, Armand Miller.
A celebration of Deborah’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
