Alice Moore Freeman was born on May 21, 1948 in McCormick, SC. She was the daughter of the late Milton Moore Sr. and Marie Adams Moore. Alice went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2024. She was 76 years old.

Alice was a member of Shiloh A.M.E. Church in McCormick, SC. She attended McCormick County Schools and gave many dedicated years of service to McCormick Nursing Home before retiring. She enjoyed listing to The Parade of Quartets, being around family and friends and doing crossword puzzles. She was a very humble, kind-hearted, loving and strong lady. Alice was known for her big bright smile that brought joy to everyone around her.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by a loving daughter, Shauna Freeman, sisters, Verdell Avery, Lillie Moore and Cora Mae Madison and a brother, Garnett Moore.

Alice leaves to morn her passing, two daughters, Valerie Freeman of McCormick, SC and Sharon Freeman of Summerville, SC; a son, Shaun Freeman of McCormick, SC, two grandchildren  raised in the home after the passing of her beloved daughter, Ma’Nyriel Wideman and Ma’Tydrieon Wideman seven additional grandchildren, Carldiasja Holloway, A’zihiun Holloway and Va’Tarian Holloway, Rashawn Wideman and Lamihay Wideman all of McCormick, SC, Jamlius Freeman (Lucy) of Iva, SC, Darius Wynn of Summerville, SC,  a sister, Janice Talbert (Jimmy) of McCormick, SC a brother, Milton Moore Jr. of McCormick, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
