Archie Callaham was born in McCormick County, SC on February 23, 1932. He was the husband of Mary Talbert Callaham and son of the late Andrew Jackson and the late Daisy Bell Rouse. Archie took his rest on January 30, 2026. He was 93 years old.
Archie attended McCormick County Schools and worked in logging and construction before retirement. He enjoyed fishing, baseball and helping others.
Archie’s memories will be cherished by his wife, Mary Talbert Callaham of the home; sons, Archie Callaham Jr. (Doris) of Abbeville, SC, Greg Callaham (Givonia) of Edgefield, SC, Don Callaham of McCormick, SC and Sherman Callaham of Greenwood, SC; daughter, Jennifer Callaham of McCormick, SC, sister-in-law, Janie Quarles of Greenwood, SC, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a host of other realitives and friends.
Archie was preceded in death by his brothers, Theodore Callaham and John Callaham; sisters, Myrtis Williams and Rosie Lee Searles and a granddaughter, Quentia Simpson
