Barbara Ann Wharton was born on February 12, 1968 in Greenwood, SC to the late Willie Earl Sr. and Bobbie Moore Tate. Barbara transitioned from this life on February 8, 2022 in Abbeville, SC. She was 53 years old.
Barbara was a member of Shiloh A.M.E Church in McCormick, SC, a 1986 graduate of McCormick High School and was employed with Sage Automotive in Abbeville, SC as an inspector.
Barbara’s memories will be cherished by her husband, Marquee Wharton of the home. Her daughters; Tymeshia Shada Hill and Keyiona Watrice Hill both of Greenwood, SC. Her brothers, Saul Kent of Donalds, SC, DreKevious Moore of McCormick, SC and Robert Tate of Hartwell, GA. Her sisters, Clara Gray of Abbeville, SC and Sandra Adams of Columbia, SC. Her grandchildren, Keon Zachary Anderson and Jeremiah Tymere Hill both of Greenwood, SC and a host of other relativities and friends.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by a son, Demarcus Antonio Tate and her brother, Willie Earl Tate jr.
