Bennie Lee

Bennie Melvin Rogers Pinckney Lee was born on October 20, 1958 in McCormick County, SC. She was the daughter of the late John Rogers and Shirley Martin Rogers. She was raised in the home of he grandmother, the late Lillie Rogers.

At a early age Bennie joined Tranquil AME Church in McCormick, SC. She was a 1978 graduate of McCormick, High School. After graduation she moved to Augusta, GA where she worked for MCG Hospital as a Sterile Processing Tech. She later returned to McCormick and worked for SRH.

Bennie was preceded in death by her father, John Rogers, grandmother, Lillie Rogers and a sister, Yolonda Rogers.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Shirley Mae Walden, daughters, Beatrice Pinckney, Kylstra Rogers and Katoya Pinckney, sisters, Janice Rogers, Sherry Rogers, Terry Rogers and Jacqueline Rogers; brother Randy Walden and a host of relatives and friends
