Betty Jean Harper was born on March 6, 1954 in McCormick, SC. She was the daughter of the late Dorothy Patterson and wife of Gill Harper. Betty passed on April 12, 21023 in Greenwood, SC after a extended illness. She was 69 years old.

Betty was a member of Turevine Progressive Church of Jesus in McCormick., SC. She was a 1973 graduate of McCormick High School and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant before her retirement.

In addition to her mother, Betty was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank Patterson, Eric Patterson and Ray Patterson and her maternal grandparents, Metz and Ethel Patterson

Betty’s memories will be cherished by her  husband Gil Harper of the home; her son, Glasco Williams Jr of McCormick, SC; two brothers, David Patterson of McCormick, SC and Allen Patterson of Rock Hill, SC, a host of Uncles, Aunts other relatives and friends.
