Billie Jean Cash, affectionately known as “Mimi”, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, in Greenwood, South Carolina, at the age of 75. Born on December 31, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio, to Nesbie and Donya Cash. Billie’s life was marked by her nurturing spirit, and the love she shared with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Billie’s journey began at John Dela Howe School, from there she went on to become a Teacher’s aide for many years, followed by a landscaping business in Florida. Later, Billie returned to McCormick, South Carolina to be near her children and grandchildren. Billie had a great passion for Art of which she was very talented in. Billie had a spirit that shined love on everyone she encountered. Her life was one of service and love and her Faith in God. Billie was predeceased by her beloved sister, Beverly Cash , her brother Freddie Cash, her parents, Nesbie Cash and Donya Cash. She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Wilkie, Peavy and Stacy Wilkie, both of McCormick, South Carolina, her adoring grandchildren, Bradley Peavy, Montana Peavy, Mina Peavy, Jasmine Blair, Bianca Blair, Maddison Norman, Gavin Norman and Jillian Murray, her great grandchildren, Kayleigh Peavy, Andrew Peavy, Karlee Peavy, Mark Otis Peavy and Alyvia Jones. Her brother’s, Buddy Cash, John Cash and Edward Cash. Her sister‘s Jackie May and Vicki Doerflinger, along with numerous nieces and nephews and the close friends she held dear to her heart. We will all hold dear the countless precious memories we shared with Billie, our “ Mimi”.
