John Paul “Rev. “ Norman was born on January 29, 1966 in Lincolnton, GA. He was the son of the late Booker T. Harris and Geraldine Norman. His earthly journey ended on March 13, 2021 at age 55. “Rev” as he was affectionally known, was a graduate of Mims High School. He worked for Georgia Pacific for over 20 years before joining Electrolux. He also owned B&J Car Care. He had a heart for young people and enjoyed football. He coached youth sports for over 20 years and was a Pittsburg Stealer Fan. “Rev” had a passion for the gospel and was very active in church. He was ordained a deacon at New Life Outreach Ministries in May 2004. He later preached his trial sermon at Solomon Pool Deliverance Ministries where he served as Youth Minister for many years. In 2011 he was ordained Co-Pastor of Comfort Ministry for all People in McCormick, SC. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by two brothers; James Eric Thomas and William Norman and three sisters; Barbara Stilley, Martha Harris, Marie Middleton. John’s memories will be cherished by his wife, Pastor Bobbie Norman, his children; Darnell Norman, E'monie Norman and Dy’Lejha Norman all of the home, Lashandria “Tasha” (Maurice) Martin of Greenwood, SC, and a special daughter, Jessica Burns of Lincolnton, GA, his brother, Bobby (Roxxie) Thomas of Rock Hill, SC, his sisters; Daisy Gibert of McCormick, SC, Elsie (Charlie) Turman of Willington, SC and Julia Harris of McCormick, SC, his grandchildren; Glory Williams, Zion Williams, J’Quavious Burns and J’cyanna Durrant, his brother-in laws; Willie (Dianne) Crite of Washington, GA and Charles Middleton Sr, his sister in-laws; Cathy (Hallah) Banks of Augusta, GA and Cora Harper of Washington, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
