David Allen Jackson was born on May 15, 1952  in Abbeville County, SC. He was the son of the late Charlie and Willie Gean Mchaney Jackson. He passed on Sunday, February 23, 2025 in Abbeville, SC. He was 72 years old.

David attended Abbeville County Schools and worked in logging  and manufacturing before retirement. He was a caring soul who loved life, fishing and gardening.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Jackson and sisters, Willie Mae Jackson, Bessie L. Jackson and Jessie Jackson.

David’s memories will be cherished by his special friend, Helen Diane Baskin of Abbeville, SC; sisters, Mable Lee Hugley and Mozelle Jackson both of Abbeville, SC and Louellen Holloway of Greenwood, SC, a brother, Ralph Otis Jackson of Ferriday, LA and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
