Doris Virginia Key

Doris Virginia Satchell  Key, 65, of McCormick, SC, wife of  Layefette Key,  passed  on Monday, July 27,2020 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC. Doris was born on Oct. 4, 1954 in Greenwood, SC to the late William Adams Jr. and Mary Satchell.

 In addition to her parents she was  preceded in death by her grandmother, Luria Patterson and a special niece, Twyla Key.

 Doris was a member of  Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, a graduate of McCormick High School class of 1972 and retired from Riegel  Manufacturing after 22 years of service.

 Doris leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Shunessa Key and Janisha Key both of McCormick, SC, two brothers, James (Brenda) Satchell of Hockessin, DE and Jerry Satchell of Columbia, SC, Doris was a second mother to, Thyron Freeman of Nashville, TN, Taletha Freeman of Memphis, TN, Thaddeus Freeman of Augusta GA, Malcolm Gaston of McCormick, SC, Marisa Key- Durant of Elgin, OK, Yolanda Key  and Somekia Key both of Greenwood SC, a God- daughter Angel Key- Durant of Charleston, SC  and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
