Edna Gail Lomax Hall was born in Abbeville County, SC on February 11, 1956 to the late Richard Frank Lomax and Annie Mae Rayford Lomax. She departed this life on April 28, 2024 in Greenwood, SC. She was 68 years old.
Edna was a member of Mt. Clement CME Church in Abbeville, SC and a member of The Joylettes for over 40 years. She attended public schools in Abbeville, SC and worked in textiles before retirement.
Edna’s memories will be cherished by her daughter, Malerie Brown of the home; brother, Larry O'Dell Lomax of Abbeville, SC; a granddaughter ,Jalaysia Brown of Abbeville, SC and host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Louis Rayford, Rayford Eugene Lomax, Craig Steven Lomax, Richard Lomax and Willie Samuel Lomax and two sisters, Ora Lee Lomax and Toni Marie Lomax.
