Elaine Taylor

Elaine Brenda Taylor was born on September 3, 1950 in Greenville, SC. She was the daughter of the late Luther Taylor Sr. and Eller Nee Byrd Taylor. She passed on Friday, January 21, 2022 at age 71.

Elaine attended Riverside Christian Outreach Church in Greenville, SC. She attended Greenville County Schools and retired from Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Elaine’s memories will be cherished by her children, Judy (Andrew) Wardlaw and Desmond (Valarie) Taylor both of Simpsonville, SC, Charles (Faronda) Taylor of Sanford Fl, Tiffie (Kenyatta) King, Alverta  (Zarion) Taylor and Tina (Titus) Martin all of Greenville, SC and Virginia (Shadrach) Taylor of Lawrenceville Ga, her brothers, Alonzo (Jackie) Taylor and Joe Nathan (Doris) Taylor both of Greenville, SC,  eighteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by two children, James Taylor and Tabetha Taylor, a grandson, Titus Martin Jr, her brothers, Luther Taylor Jr, George Edward Taylor, Louis Taylor, Rosevelt Taylor and Johnny Taylor. Her sisters, Vearee Taylor, Bertha Lee Strickland and Areatha Mangrum.

Elaine’s memory will also be cherished by her companion, Edward Jeter of Greenville, SC.
