Frances Wiggleton Talbert was born on February 15, 1939 in Parksville, SC. She was the daughter of the late Josh. and Mollie O’Bryant Wiggleton. She was the widow of James W. Talbert. She passed on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at age 83.

Mrs. Talbert was a member of Cedar Spring Baptist Church in Plum Branch, SC where she served as a Deaconess, Chief Usher, member of the Women’s Missionary and Senior Choir member. She was a 1959 graduate of Mims High School and attended Piedmont Technical College. She was a teachers aid and enjoyed gardening, traveling and watching game shows.

Mrs. Talbert’s memories will be cherished by her sons, James (Justine) Talbert of McCormick, SC and Randy Talbert of Lexington, SC; three daughters, Jacqueline (Joseph) Avery of West Columbia, SC and Albertina Talbert and Valarie Talbert both of Huntersville, NC; a brother, Josh (Georgette) Wiggleton of McCormick, SC; three grandchildren, Rhianna Talbert of Lexington, SC, Erin Abney and Erica (Coylin) Brooks both of Augusta, GA; two great-grandchildren; Jaden Elijah Abney and Xavier Latrell Abney; goddaughter, Tiffany Smith of Columbia, SC;  godson, Bernard Philpot of McCormick, SC. and a host of special nieces, nephews, other relatives, former students and friends.
