Gail Robertson Moton was born in McCormick County, SC on December 27, 1956. She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Emma “Honey” Cunningham Robertson. Gail’s earthly journey ended on January 13, 2026 in Greenville, SC. She was 69 years old.

Gail was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Parksville, SC. She was a graduate of McCormick, High School and retired from BMW Manufacturing. She had a laugh and smile that lit up a room. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, casinos, cruises, softball, bowling, watching soaps and Ion shows.

Gail’s memories will be cherished by her sons, Detric Moton (Chemarie) and Kendall Moton (Andrea) both of Simpsonville, SC; daughters, Leteshia Moton and Letashia Moton both of Simpsonville, SC; sisters, Ella Harper of Simpsonville, SC and Brenda Oppong-Boateng (Issac) of Somerset, NJ; brother, Benjamin Robertson (Jameena) of Willington, SC; sister- in-laws, Dorothy Robertson of Greenwood, SC and Deloise Robertson of Plum Branch, SC; aunts, Bertha “Nub” Cartledge of Plum Branch, SC, Verdella Samuels of Bowie, MD and Bernice Cunningham of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Dominque Moton, Taylor Moton, Kira Moton, Amari Moton and Kaylee Moton, and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by three brothers; Thales Robertson, Lorenzo Robertson and Willie Floyd Robertson.
