Henry David Nicholson was born on October 1, 1950 in Greenwood, SC. He was the son of the late Henry Nicholson and Mamie Julia Moore. Henry passed on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at his home. He was 72 years old.

Henry graduated from Brewer High School in Greenwood, SC. He was a US Marine Veteran and worked in trucking and textiles before his retirement. Henry had a great sense of humor and loved telling jokes.

In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by a daughter, Mcquonia Lawton and a great-grandson, Jachai Cunningham.

Henry’s memories will be cherished by his wife, Thelma Brown of the home; daughters, Lashun Brown (Darrell) of Taylors, SC, Acquanda Barcliff (James) of Greenwood, SC and Lathel Cunningham (Keith) of Simpsonville, SC; sons, Raymond Brown Jr. of Memphis, TN and Anthony Brown (Sana) of Simpsonville, SC; a granddaughter raised in the home, Shalaeya Berry (Andre) of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Diane Moore (Hubert) and Tracy Elmore (James) both of Greenwood, SC; brothers, Bobby Moore of Greenwood, SC, Michael Moore  of Ninety Six, SC and William Moore (Vera) of Greenwood, SC; 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
