Izola Lee Coleman Obituary
Miss Izola Lee Coleman departed this life on Monday, January 13, 2025, peacefully surrounded by family. She was born in Abbeville County on November 10, 1950, to the late Johnnie and Susie Belle Coleman.
Izola accepted Christ early and was a long-standing member of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church of Abbeville South Carolina. When she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, she attended Christian Mission Baptist Church, where she loved to sing in the hymn choir. She graduated from J.S. Wright High School in Abbeville SC.
Izola's challenges did not stop her from being a warm and loving individual, who always had a compliment, appreciation, and gratitude for anyone she came in contact with. You could always count on Izola to give a kind word. She loved to carry her green pocketbook and she loved ice cream but did not like oatmeal. Her favorite color was pink and her least favorite color was gray. Izola was a 2-time cancer survivor.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; Johnnie Coleman Jr & Rudene Coleman, both formally residents of Detroit Michigan, and one sister, Lurlene Adams of Charlotte, North Carolina.
She leaves behind to cherish her fond memories, one aunt, Eliza Coleman, and two brothers; Ernest E. Coleman of Abbeville, South Carolina, and Sylvester Coleman of Charlotte, North Carolina. Two sisters; Patricia Pharr of Charlotte North Carolina and Bernice Crawford of Augusta Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and relatives, who will miss her dearly.
