James "Stick" Harrison

James A. “Stick” Harrison was born on March 7, 1943 in McCormick County, SC. He was the son of the late Efford and Annie Drennon Harrison. James departed this life on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 after an extended illness. He was 80 years old.

James was a member of Glovers Chapel Baptist Church in Troy, SC. He attended McCormick County Schools and worked in logging before retirement. James loved his family, fishing hunting and his dogs.

In addition to his parents James was preceded in death by two daughters, Angela Faye Harrison and Emma Jean Harrison and a sister, Eddie Louise Middleton.

James memories will be cherished by his daughters, Janet Harrison of Troy, SC and  Benita Calhoun of McCormick, SC; his sister, Mary Frances Hall (James) of Troy, SC; two grandchildren, Rochelle T. Harrison and Kameron J. Harrison both of Troy, SC; his caregiver Vanessa Wideman and a host of other relatives and friends.
