The life of Louis Lee Wright began on September 25, 1958 in McCormick County, SC. He was the son of the late Willie and Ethel Lee Thomas Wright and husband of Carolyn Boyd Wright. Louis passed at his home in McCormick, SC on August 10, 2024. He was 65 years old.

Louis was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church in Troy, SC. He was a 1977 graduate of Mims High School and retired from the US Army with over 21 years of service. He loved his family, the San Francisco 49ers and his dogs.

In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by a daughter, Ladeidra Wright; two brothers, Willie Wright Jr. and Brian Wright, a sister, Sarah Ann Jennings and a niece, Shakeria Dunlap.

Louis’s memories will be cherished by his son, Quinton Martin, granddaughter, Datoya White and great granddaughter, Royaltii White all of  Greenwood, SC; stepchildren, Whitney Mays of Spartanburg, SC and Stephanie Mays of Abbeville, SC; brothers, Frankie Wright (Shavonte) of Greenwood, SC, Archie Wright of McCormick, SC and Kenneth Wright of Buffalo, NY; sisters, Dinah Lewis (Wallace), Maxine Walker, Michelle Wright and  Angela Moore (Kenneth) all of Greenwood, SC and  Carolyn Creswell and Tina Wright Jones of McCormick, SC; a God sister, Lillie Mae Lee of Abbeville, SC; four step grandchildren, 23 nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
