Marilyn Marie Adams was born in Lincolnton, Ga on June 26, 1965. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Blair Adams. Her earthly journey ended on December 3, 2025. She was 60 years old.

Marilyn was a member of Zion Chapel AME Church in McCormick, SC where she served as a Steward and YPD Director. She was a 1983 graduate of McCormick High School and worked in textiles before her health declined.

Marilyn’s memories will be cherished by her son, Grandell Adams of the home; brothers, Eddie Adams Sr (Sue). of Columbia, SC, Floyd Adams and Sonny Adams (Darnella) both of McCormick, SC; sisters, Brenda McDaniel of Severn MD and Charlene Brownlee of McCormick, SC; aunts, Mae Belle McDuffie, Lynell Blair, Leeanna Anderson (Earl), Debera McCasline (Larry) and Sandra Terry; uncles, Robert Blair (Emma), Leon Blair, Stanley Price (LaShonda), James Morgan and Wayne Morgan, caregiver, Brianna Wideman and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and grandparents, Marilyn was preceded in death by two brothers, Claude Adams (Dorothy) and Nathaniel Adams (Nadine).
