Mrs. Mary B. Callaham was born in McCormick, SC, on March 9, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Brown and Estelle Hardy-Brown. She peacefully departed this life into the loving arms of Jesus on March 19, 2026 at the age of 91.

Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert (Julia) Brown and James E. Brown, her sisters Vertee Settles and Christine Wardlaw, her son-in-law, David Warren Sr., best friend, Jeanette Gilchrist, great-grandson, Braylin Coley, and great-grand pup, Tommie Joe Willis.

Mary may not have been in church on Sundays, but she loved the Lord in her own way and carried that faith with her every single day. She loved her family dearly and took pride in being with them. One of her greatest joys was cooking—making sure everyone was fed, happy, and together. Mary enjoyed life in the simplest and sweetest ways. She loved going for long car rides, sitting back and just taking it all in. Every now and then, she’d kick her legs out and dance, not thinking twice about it. She loved to laugh, have a good time, and be around good company. That was just who she was—someone who enjoyed life and made sure the people around her did too.

Mary leaves a legacy of love and cherished memories to her family: her daughters, Johnnie Mae Warren and Stella (Wesley) Gunter; grandchildren, Liquinita (Dennis) Rutledge, Brian (Brittania) Coley, LaTonya (Keith) Jordan, April Coley, and Gerald (Tiffanique) Gunter; great-grandchildren, Alexis Tabb, Alysha (Victor) Volious, DaNayah Coley, Imani Coley, Zykailyn Coley, Brooklynn Coley, Sydney Owings, Liam Owings, and Leo Gunter; honorary grandchildren, Felicia Cromer (Goodie Bag), Kimberly Bland, Kenya Calhoun; caregivers, Maxine Parker and Janie Morton, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
