Mary Ferguson

Mary Deloise Moore Ferguson was born on December 8, 1943 in McCormick, SC. She was the wife of Willie Arthur Ferguson and daughter of the late Elder Shepherd and Willie Ruth Moore. Mary passed on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Abbeville Area Medical Center in Abbeville, SC. She was 79 years old.

Mary was a member of Shiloh AME Church in McCormick, SC. She graduated for McCormick High School and worked as a sewing machine operator before her retirement.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Moore and Robert Edward Moore and two sisters, Peggy Moore and Flora Swearinger.

In addition to her husband of the home, Mary’s memories will be cherished by her two daughters, Jackie (Rickey) Ferguson of Trenton, SC and Sally (Derick) Parks of McCormick, SC; a sister, Martha Moore of Brooklyn NY; a brother, James (Eartha) Moore of Greenwood, SC; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of other realities and friends.
