Nora Virginia Callaham Obituary

Nora Virginia McDaniel Callaham was born in Travelers Rest, SC on February 14, 1960 to the late Willie McDaniel and Helen Wideman McDaniel. She was the wife of Thomas L. Callaham. On June 4, 2024 she received her Heavenly wings at age 64.

Nora was a member of Tranquil A.M.E. Church in Bradley, SC. She attended public school in McCormick, SC. She worked at Bower’s Rodger’s Children’s Home for twenty-one years and at Lowe’s as a sales associate.  

In addition to her parents, Nora was preceded  in death by a brother, Robert Daniel Martin.

Nora’s leaves to cherish her loving memories, her husband: Thomas L. Callaham of the home; her daughter, Fanyetta McDaniel of McCormick, SC; four sisters, Roberta Patterson, Mary Johnson, Lynda (Ricky) Calhoun, and Cathy Williams all of Greenwood, SC; four brothers, Willie (Betty) Wideman of Edgefield, SC, David Wideman, James (Geraldine) Wideman and Frank McDaniel all of Greenwood, SC; One god brother, Thomas “Skeet” Key of Edgefield, SC; two grandchildren, Norayasha (Shay) McDaniel of the home and Trentin Mason of McCormick, SC and a host of  other relatives and friends.
