Patricia "Dotsie" Patterson Blackwell was born in McCormick, SC on January 29, 1962 to Jessie Williams and the late Pierce Simpkins. She was raised by Willie James Williams. She was the wife of  Chester J. Blackwell. On April 10, 2022 Patricia joined her Lord and savior. She was 60 years old.

Patricia was a member of Light of Life Community Church in McCormick, SC, where she served as an usher. She was a supreme servant of the community. She graduated from Mims High School and  was a homemaker. 

Patricia's memories will be cherished by  her husband Chester J. Blackwell of the home. Her mother Jessie Williams of McCormick, SC. Her father figure Willie James Williams of McCormick, SC. Her daughters; Aleshia D. Blackwell and Letina D. Blackwell both of Greenwood, SC and a special daughter Zakajun D. Patterson of McCormick, SC. Her sister Cynthia W. King of McCormick, SC. Her brothers; Leon Patterson and Brad A. (Angielee) Williams both of Greenwood, SC, James M. Williams of Jackson, SC, Johnny D. (Tonya) Williams and Bobby L. (Wyshica) Williams both of McCormick, SC.  Four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
