Robert Patterson, 97, of McCormick, entered into eternal rest on September 22, 2019 at McCormick Health and Rehabilitation. Robert was born on May 5, 1922 in McCormick County. He was the husband of Elizabeth Patterson. He was educated in McCormick County Schools and a member of Tranquil AME Church in Bradley, SC.  He was a World War II Veteran and retired from Park Davis in Greenwood, SC. He was preceded in death are his parents, Moses and Frances Patterson; a son, James Patterson; two sisters, Aggie Lee Jones and Beatrice Durrant; four brothers, Oscar Patterson, Ed Patterson, Moses Patterson and Joshua Patterson.

Roberts memories will be cherished by his wife of the home; his sons, Robert Lee Patterson and Ed Patterson both of Philadelphia, PA, Timothy Patterson of Greenwood, SC; his sisters, Essie Mae (Freddie) Cross of Philadelphia, PA, Halen Patterson of McCormick, SC; a special granddaughter raised in the home, Donna Jones of Greenwood; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins to mourn his passing.
