Rosa Mary “Fat Sam” Brown entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 02, 2020 following a lengthy illness. Rosa was born on December 16, 1954 to the late Willie Lee and Willie Mae Hardy Brown. Rosa was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in McCormick, SC. She graduated from McCormick High School and worked as a home aid. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shonta Brown and her granddaughter, Padreka Heath.

She leaves to cherish her memory four sisters, Gloria B. Elam, Carolyn H. Crosby and Sandra M. (Edward) Jenkins of McCormick, SC and Alicia M. (Roy) Burkett of Waterloo, SC, two brothers; Paul Hardy and Willie Lee (Barbara) Hardy Jr. of McCormick, SC, Three stepsons; Jerome Heath of Washington, DC, Ricky Heath and Patrick Heath of Anderson, SC, A stepdaughter; Dianie Gill of Washington, DC, Six Grandchildren; Pateriea Heath, Pierra Heath, ByKeshia Heath and Byron Heath, of Greenwood, SC, Brandon Heath and Paris Heath of Anderson, SC
