Shirley Cunningham Bussey was born on February 1, 1947 in McCormick, SC. She was the wife of Pat Bussey Jr. and  daughter of the late Dan and Minnie Robertson Cunningham. She ended her earthly journey on Tuesday January 26, 2021 at the age of 73. 

Shirley was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Plum Branch, SC where she served in the Gospel Choir and the W.H. McCain Ensemble. She graduated for Mims High School in 1965 and worked in textiles before her retirement. After retiring she became a devoted caregiver and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

 In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by a sister, Alma Simmons and five   brothers; Albert Cunningham, Zelma Cunningham, Joe A. Cunningham, Tommy E. Cunningham and James Cunningham.

In addition to her husband, Shirley  is survived by two daughters, Krystal (Kaylon) Davis of Hephzibah, GA and Kenya F. Bussey of Greenwood, SC, two brothers; Walter Cunningham  and Charlie (Doris) Cunningham both of Plum Branch, SC.  two sisters; Zelena Terry of Haddon Heights, NJ and Deloris (Giles) McManus of Edgefield ,SC,  four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
